Matt has over ten years’ experience in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on health insurance. He spent five years with a leading UK insurer, where he worked his way up to a team leader role, building a deep understanding of how health insurance works and what really matters to customers. He’s also worked across general insurance and the civil service, giving him a broad perspective when it comes to helping people make informed decisions.

As an adviser, Matt combines detailed product knowledge with a straightforward, down-to-earth approach. He understands there’s a lot to consider when choosing a plan, so he focuses on explaining things clearly, from what’s covered to how policies are structured. His experience in a regulated environment also means he’s thorough and careful in how he works, helping customers feel confident they’re in safe hands.

One of the things Matt enjoys most is helping people realise what’s possible with private healthcare. Customers are often surprised at how quickly they can be seen, with consultations and scans sometimes available within days, and treatment following soon after. He also enjoys helping customers review their existing cover to see if they could get a better deal or more suitable protection, noting just how much levels of cover can vary from one insurer to another.

For Matt, it’s all about giving people peace of mind. Knowing you can access care more quickly and have support in place if something unexpected happens can make a big difference. His aim is to make the whole process as simple and stress-free as possible, so you can focus on what matters most.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his young son and making the most of family life. He’s a big sports fan, particularly football and rugby, and played regularly for many years. These days, when he gets a bit of spare time, you’ll usually find him watching football instead of playing.
